Advisory Board

A non-executive Advisory Board is invited by the Executive Board. Members will be appointed on a 12 month fixed term basis, with possibility of renewal. The Advisory Board should comprise at least three individuals.

The Advisory Board will arbitrate in cases of dispute resolution when agreement on content cannot be reached by Reviewers and Managing Editors. They can recommend individuals as Managing Editors and Reviewers to the Executive Board.

Managing editors

Managing Editors are appointed by the Executive Board, with advice from the Advisory Board. Criteria for a Managing Editor to be appointed include: a clear ability to commit time to their role within Pharmapedia; and, access to experts for Reviewer nominations. Term of office will be 12 months, with possibility of renewal.

Reviewers

Reviewers are appointed by Managing Editors. One Managing Editor can nominate a Reviewer. CVs and publication lists of potential Reviewers are considered by at least two Managing Editors. Criteria for a Reviewer to be appointed include relevant and demonstrable expertise in one or more speciality areas of pharmacy practice.

Reviewers are responsible for ensuring the Pharmapedia content is accurate, relevant and up to date, and reflects current practice and evidence.

Contributors

Ordinary members that have been accepted as account holders can contribute to the content of Pharmapedia.

Statistics

Each month we collect data on the number of Contributors (registered account holders), content pages and edits, as well as other statistics, for quality assurance and marketing purposes.

Privacy Policy

Pharmapedia has a Privacy Policy which sets out how we use and protect information given to Pharmapedia by users.
